Winter Competition

The Albany Netball Association Winter Competition runs every year from April to September and caters for players ranging from Primary School to Adult.

To participate in the winter competition, players will need to join an affiliated Club during their registration period and be placed into a team. Clubs then nominate teams into the ANA competition. To find out more about ANA’s Clubs, head to our Club contact page

Scoring and Timing

It is the duty of each team to provide a scorer or timer each week. To find out your team duty, simply look at the fixture on PlayHQ. The first named team is responsible for keeping score. The second named team is responsible for timing. Please note: it is the winning teams responsibility to return the scorecard to the office after each match. Timekeepers must use an appropriate timing device for timing all quarters and breaks.

Mobile phones are NOT suitable.

We ask all clubs and anyone involved with match day officiating to familiarise themselves with the scorecard requirements. Penalties may apply for missing or incorrect information.
